What does DME stand for?
DME stands for Durable Medical Equipment which means any equipment that is used in the home to aid in a better quality of living. At South Central DME, we carry a full range of home care items to help meet your medical needs.
Did you know that you can get your CPAP supplies and Oxygen here locally?
If you need ANY help with your oxygen, picking out the right equipment for your needs, or have any questions regarding your therapy, give them a call at (620)842-3546.
While CPAP and Oxygen supplies are our main focus, we do have other services that we provide.
We have a complete line of diabetic shoes that are both stylish and comfortable. These shoes are not just for diabetics but for anyone that might have feet problems and need a more comfortable, quality shoe. We carry name brands such as Dr. Comfort and APEX. Our team is fully trained and certified on how to properly fit diabetic shoes for our patients. We have been instructed on the features and benefits of APEX diabetic footwear as well as the heat molding of the "off the shelf" diabetic orthotics that go into the shoes. Stop by and we will fit you for a new pair of shoes or orthotics.
We also carry popular brands in other products too. For example, we carry Golden and Pride lift chairs. Lift chairs are beneficial to anyone who needs a little extra assistance getting in and out of a chair. People with arthritis or in wheelchairs find them to be very helpful.
Wheelchairs, hospital beds, bathroom safety aids, support stockings, crutches, canes, and walkers are just a few of the other items we carry.
We have a large service area - servicing Pratt, Kingman, Barber, and Harper counties in Kansas as well as Alfalfa and Grant counties in Oklahoma.
HOURS OF OPERATION
We are open Monday though Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm but we are available 24 hours a day. If you need assistance after hours, call (888)425-4862.
South Central DME achieved the Award of Accreditation in January, 2015 from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. We are very proud to have achieved this award.
